Print address labels from Excel or Google Sheets
Word's mail merge works, but it's a lot of steps for one batch of labels. If your addresses are already in a spreadsheet, LabelSheetMaker can read it directly and lay it out on a label sheet as a PDF, for free.
1. Set up your columns
Put a header row at the top. The maker recognizes common column names, for example:
- Name (or First name and Last name)
- Company (optional)
- Address and Address 2 (or Street, Apt, Unit, Suite)
- City, State, Zip, and Country (optional)
City, state and zip are joined onto one line like "Charlotte, NC 28202". If the maker doesn't recognize your headers, it puts each cell of the row on its own line instead.
2. Save as CSV
In Excel, choose File, Save As, and pick "CSV UTF-8". In Google Sheets, choose File, Download, "Comma-separated values (.csv)". You can also copy the cells, including the header row, and paste them into the maker with the "My text is a CSV" box ticked.
3. Upload, preview, print
- Open the label maker and pick your sheet size (5160-size, 30 per page, is the most common).
- Upload the CSV. Each row becomes one label. Check the live preview.
- Download the PDF, do a plain-paper test print, then print at 100% scale ("Actual size").
Privacy
The file is read in your browser. Your spreadsheet isn't uploaded or stored on a server.
