Print 2×4 shipping labels from a list

5163-size sheets have 10 labels per US Letter page, 2 across and 5 down, each 2" × 4". They're compatible with Avery® 5163 and 8163. That's enough room for a full shipping address in a size a carrier can read at a glance. If you ship a handful of orders at a time, LabelSheetMaker turns your list of addresses into a PDF for that sheet, for free.

Make 5163-size shipping labels

Note: these are address labels. They don't include postage or a tracking barcode. If you buy postage online, the carrier's site gives you its own label to print.

1. Get your order addresses into the maker

The quickest way is to paste. Put each address on its own lines, with a blank line between orders:

You can also upload a CSV with a header row. The maker recognizes simple column names like Name, Company, Address, Address 2, City, State, Zip and Country. Order exports from shop platforms often use other names, like "Ship Name" or "Shipping Address1", which aren't recognized. Rename those headers, or copy the address columns into a new sheet with simple headers first. If the headers aren't recognized, each cell of a row is put on its own line instead.

2. Check the layout

3. Do a test print first

  1. Click "Test-alignment sheet" to download a page of numbered boxes for the 5163-size layout.
  2. Print it on plain paper at 100% scale ("Actual size", not "Fit to page").
  3. Hold it over a label sheet against a window or a light. If the boxes line up with the labels, print your real PDF the same way.

If everything is off by the same amount, open "Printer alignment (nudge)" in the maker and shift it in 1/16" steps. The misaligned labels guide covers other causes.
